Fall In Love With the Process and the Results Will Follow

I learned recently that when working out, it isn’t the results that matter.  These are often far removed from the diligent motivation it takes to continue a workout regimen.  The true secret is falling in love with the effort put forth in the first place. If you can master that, then you are well on your way to success and… Buffness.


I couldn’t help but draw similarities between this approach and sales.
Sales is truly a delayed gratification game. If we can learn to love making calls, strategizing about deals, learning about prospects, and uncovering solutions then we too are on track for greatness.  If we can apply this methodology then we can train ourselves to forget the small stuff and focus on what really matters… Results.
