Salespeople: Ignore Your Prospecting Results
The beauty of having a sales process that you work consistently is that you get to ignore the results of your prospecting efforts.
Yes, that’s right, I meant what I just said and… No, I didn’t lose my mind.
What I mean is that “IF” you have a sales process and “IF” you work your sales process you aren’t controlled by the minor ups and downs all of us in sales loath. You are now empowered to then give total control over to your process and trust in it as well as your abilities. True, one day you might make 100 phones calls and throw up a big goose egg but the very next day you can make three calls and set three appointments. Using a sales process evens out the rough spots. Call it the “Xanax of Prospecting” if you will.
